I delight in you my child

There is such a long list of reasons why I haven't written a blog post in a while...
       - overwhelmed with the concern about what my future truly holds
       - frustration with filling out application after application with no sense of direction of where I am to focus.... (Meaning where geographically am I truly being called... currently I feel drawn west)
       -  desiring to refocus on my relationship with the Lord and targeting my sinful nature that tends to be a repetitive and dangerous habit

There is more but, I think you get the point :) I'm a mess just like everyone other person, there is always something causing me to question myself, God or the things happening around me (boy, you really notice if you ever watch the news).

In the midst of all this .. I hear God's voice reminding me of the truth and I felt like someone else may need to hear it.

Dear precious son or daughter,

I take delight in you!

I love you. Despite your sin, flaws, imperfection, mistakes, past, present, future,  I love you.
All those things that way you down-- guilt, shame, doubt-- are the enemy making you question how deep it is, but its deeper than you can comprehend.

“The gospel is this: We are more sinful and flawed in ourselves than we ever dared believe, yet at the very same time we are more loved and accepted in Jesus Christ than we ever dared hope.”- Timothy Keller

I have a plan for you!

Things appear gray, foggy and  you can barely see your foot let alone the path , but have no fear for I am near!   Rely on me to guide you through the treacherous climb and the unpredictable terrain.
I know exactly where you are going and all that you will accomplish.
Walk in faith  -- trusting me and all that I have in store for you.

For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.- Jeremiah 29:11

  Love,
Your  heavenly Father

Dear God,
Refresh our minds, spirits and rid of us any guilt, shame, or doubt.
 Restore us. Heal us.
Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of faithwho for the joy set before Him endured the crossdespising the shame, and has sat down at the righthand of the throne of God. Hebrews 12:2

Amen
